Video Transcript

CASEy helps companies succeed by having clearly articulated visions and strategies that get solved.

This video will explain how to brainstorm and create a set of ideas that solve a strategic challenge for a company, product, or service vision using CASEy at HeyCASEY.io.

CASEy implements the Continuous Adaptive Strategy Execution method, or CASE for short.

CASE is a dynamic method to align strategy within companies and achieve results, and after a clear vision is defined and challenges are identified, it's time to create ideas that solve those challenges.

Ideas in CASEy are anything you can deliver or actions you can take that solve a challenge.

Ideas are placeholders for work by someone, either technical or non-technical.

The goal is for each challenge to have many possible ideas to choose from.

We cover triaging and selecting in another video.

Let's create some ideas together.

Just like visions and challenges, you can create ideas yourself or say Hey Casey, give me some ideas.

To get your creative juices for ideas flowing, click on the Suggest Ideas button from within any challenge.

Based on all the information you have entered about the company background, value proposition, customers, competitors, challenges, and OKRs, I'll create 10 ideas. These ideas will span an array of approaches to solve the challenge.

Click on the Accept suggestion button to create an idea title and description.

You can do this as many times as you want.

You can also ask me to refine any with a simple, More like number 2, or another 10 please.

Ideas can also come from your teams.

CASEy can create a survey for input about the challenge and ideas to solve it.

CASEy can also summarize the responses so you don't have to read them all.

If you don't need my help, you can also just add ideas at any time on your own by clicking the Add button in the Proposed Ideas column.

And that's it, you'll have a set of ideas that you can discuss, prioritize, and select, but that's for another video.
